Plain-language summary: the free plugin sends us nothing. Pro checks your license. Ask, which is optional, sends your schema and your question to our AI service, not your rows, unless an administrator chooses otherwise.
This policy explains what the Glimpse BI WordPress plugin (free and Pro), glimpsebi.com and your account on it collect, why, and who processes it. It is published by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME / ADDRESS]. Questions or requests: [PRIVACY CONTACT EMAIL].
The free plugin runs entirely on your own server. Charts and dashboards are computed from your own WordPress database. The free plugin sends nothing to us.
When you activate Pro, and once a day afterwards when the plugin revalidates, it sends your license key, your site URL and a site instance id to api.glimpsebi.com. We use these to confirm your license is active, to enforce the number of sites your plan includes, and to show your activated sites in your account.
Ask is optional. It is off until a site administrator gives consent. When someone uses Ask, your site sends the following to Glimpse’s AI relay (api.glimpsebi.com, running on Cloudflare Workers):
By default that is all. Only if an administrator raises the data setting does Ask also send low-cardinality column values (for example the list of order statuses) or up to 200 result rows.
Queries always run on your own server. The relay never connects to your database.
The relay forwards each request to DeepSeek V4 models hosted on Cloudflare Workers AI, through Cloudflare AI Gateway. The model weights are authored by DeepSeek; they run on Cloudflare’s infrastructure, and requests are not sent to DeepSeek’s own API. Request-body logging at AI Gateway is turned off. Cloudflare still handles the request in transit as our infrastructure provider.
Glimpse does not use your data to train models. We keep per-request usage records for billing: your customer account, the site, the model, token counts, credits charged and timestamps. We do not keep your questions or the answers.
Ask conversations (the questions, chart settings and summaries, never result rows) are stored in your own WordPress database. Retention is configurable and defaults to 90 days. Users can delete their own threads.
We use three processors: Cloudflare (hosting, D1, R2, Workers AI and AI Gateway), Stripe (payments) and Resend (transactional email). See the data processing addendum for the list and the roles involved.
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to explain how it is used. Write to [PRIVACY CONTACT EMAIL]. Data stored in your own WordPress database is under your control and can be deleted there.
